GE Closing Lamp Plant in Warren OH

Sad news for our hardworking union brothers and sisters of Local 722 in Warren OH as GE announced today that they will be closing their lamp plant. GE also annouced the closing of several union service shops around the US. Too many times we hear these stories of plant closures and people losing thier jobs. We would like to keep these good people in our thoughts and prayers as we continue to go to work and support our families. This could have been appliance park just a few years ago, but do to the sacraficies our brothers and sisters have made we are able to keep our jobs. It is important now, more than ever, for all of us to continue to make the worlds best appliances made right here in the USA, Louisville, KY! Let's keep showing America that we can make a quality product and be profitable right here in our country. The more pride we take in our work to make quality profitable products, the more leverage we have at the bargaining table. Again, we want to keep our brothers and sisters up in Warren OH in our thoughts as they try to get back on thier feet.
